Ros Hibbert, MPhil RCA, is a textile consultant and her experience has been gathered from a long career in the textile industry spanning over 30 years. In 1999 she established Line, a design consultancy advising the textile and fashion trade. She is a member of the British Textile Colour Group and a contributor on colour palette creation for the two leading European fabric fairs: Moda In Tissuto in Milan and Premiere Vision in Paris. She is also a member of the European Textile Institute.


With an international client base from the world of apparel and automotive textiles, her consultancy work covers product development, textile research, promotion, marketing and consumer analysis. Ros has presented to leading fibre companies, textile manufacturers and fashion retailers in the UK, Europe, USA and Japan.


The author has also given numerous talks on Textile Innovation at teachers' insets and to lecturers and students at textile and fashion degree courses throughout the UK.
